State motto: "I *chatter* can't feel my *shiver* toes...*chatter*".

Yeah, it seems to be Ok to walk along the interstate in S. Dakota... (not like you'll see a car to get hit by...)
South Dakota joke: inmate breaks out of county jail, 3 days later the sheriff tells the state police...
The state police ask why the sheriff waited three days. The sheriff says (well I can still SEE him...)
(very few trees in S.Dakota) and flat...
Everything you might wanna see in S. Dakota (or might NOT) is along I-90:
1: Mitchell CORN PALACE
2: Mt Rushmore (outside Rapid City - Winnebago Alert)
3: STURGIS (if you have the guts to go, I don't...)
Tho I met a guy who has a temporary liquor license for the Sturgis motorcycle festival ONLY & he says he pays the rent on his house for a YEAR w/the profits...
Ok a few blocks south of I-90 on the Deadwood - Lead exit is super cjepa breakfast served in a Texaco station w/a deli attached. It's like less than 2 dollars & is eggs, bacon, toast, coffe, etc...
Not all S.Dakota ramps are LIT (even some w/towns, so be prepared to camp...)
Also be prepared to freeze your patotie off...(it gets COLD in that state @ nite...)
COOLNESS 24
avg crossing time:

n-s I-29 N.D. to Iowa: 4-6 hrs...
