A few short MEMPHIS NOTES:

Absolutely incredible SOUL FOOD at C&M Kitchen on the south side of town.
Internet access available at POPLAR _ WHITE BRANCH LIBRARY, a 30 minute bus ride from downtown on Poplar St (Memphis main drag...)
Way out east: almost to the 'burbs'...(the main library is UNSERVED...)

Great art dept: IDLEWILD PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH architecture...

Update: whatever ya do DO NOT try to walk across the bridge to Arkansas.
They made the shoulder into a third lane and it's *DANGEROUS* now.
Try Front St on ramp by the pyramid instead w *SIGN* saying 'Arkansas'.
Also Memphis addresses are deceptive: 20 blocks could be 5 miles...
So take a bus whenever possible and be warned:
They don't run past 5-6 at nite..!
And I didn't get to the show...
