State Motto: Y'know I was gonna put a funny here but how can you top "Live Free or Die" stamped on license plates manufactured by prison inmates?

New Hampshire like Nevada is a weed = felony state come ta think of it, so is Az (I shoulda told ya this back then but forgot about it...) (what I don't understand is howcum all the places pot is a felony let you wear sidearms?)

Anyhoo, if you're anything like me the only place you'll go is along the interstates while tryin' to get to Vermont or Maine...(the toll for I-95 is $1.00). Making a sign at the Mass line northbound that says "Will Pay Toll" is a good way to get to Portsmouth quick (the toll booths, like Delawares', are situated at the south side of the state, and are the only toll plazas in the state).

It is technically illegal to walk on the interstate/turnpike but you get picked up fairly quickly... (on I-95 TRAVELPORT truck stop has a 5 dollar shower...)
On I-93 (or is it 91, I can never remember oddities) the town of LINCOLN has a natural rock formation that looks like, you guessed it, Abe Lincoln...

NOW THIS IS TOO WEIRD: New Hampshire has STATE owned liqour stores (you say so what Rob, a LOT of states own their liqour stores?)
I say YEAH: but HOW MANY have them in the TURNPIKE SERVICE PLAZA in THE MIDDLE of I-95?
Along w/a Massachusetts liquor control cop recording license #'s from across the state line w/binoculars so he can send tax bills later...(actually Penn. does the same thing to Delaware and New York does it to Jersey...(and those states do it on CLOTHES!)
But a liquor store in the middle of the turnpike - that's classic!

& get this...for the longest time back when the N.H. lottery was called a "Sweepstakes", the mascot in the ads was a guy who I swear looked just like Larry, Darryl, & Darryl morphed together (actually a LOT of people up there do, but that's another story...)

I do not recommend using hwy 2 for E-W crossing unless you have:
A: time or
B: a ride straight thru...
(go down to I-90 in Mass and come back up).

Avg crossing time N-S I-95 1-2 hrs max
N-S Mass to Vt on 91 or is it 93? 5-6 hrs max

It takes 3 hrs to DRIVE from I-95 to Keene on Hwy 2 via Manchester but I have no idea how long hitchin'.
